In Situ

Inhabiting SFMoMA’s prominent street-front space, In Situ sits at the intersections of art, design, food, and community. The restaurant was developed in close collaboration with Chef Corey Lee to engage all the senses, emphasizing acoustics and tactility. The raw interior shell of the building is left partially unfinished and exposed, providing a backdrop for discretely placed “artifacts” – including commissioned art, custom lighting and furniture, and a sculptural wood ceiling.
